Formerly a 19th Century coaching inn, this wonderful hotel retains it character and charm.

It is situated in the North Coast village of Mey and only a short distance from the Queen Mother's Highland Home, the Castle of Mey.

The Hotel is set in 6 acres of open parkland - which has been planted with trees and landscaped throughout with walkways, this offers a unique facility as a dog-walk for guests.

The Hotel is beside the main tourist route to Thurso and John O'Groats.

Something for Everyone

The area boast an abundance of sea birds and other wild-life, as well as wonderful sea-shore, beaches, coves and small harbours.  Other attractions include Camster Cairns, Wick Heritage Centre, the Flagstone Trail, etc.,  see what the "What to see and do in the area" section.

For the more active there is sea and trout fishing, pony trekking and golf  amongst other things.
