Reay is a very attractive village on the outskirts of Caithness just a few miles from the border of Sutherland.

Reay Golf Course

Reay is 11 miles west of Thurso.  The course overlooks Sandside Bay and the club house can be seen from the road as you pass through Reay.  Tel: 01847 811288

Balmore Animal Welfare Centre

A mile or two before the village of Reay you will find Balmore where a collection of cats and dogs are housed for re-homing.  Any animals found and in need of welfare are taken here, in the past buzzards, an otter and even a chipmunk have been cared for here.
